Cassie is a leopard Appaloosa who was also foaled in Colorado in 1979. Cassie came to live with me in the spring of 1993. She was my former husband's horse. When we relocated to Virginia, the horses accompanied us on the long cross country journey. Sadly, I was forced to part with Cassie in 2005 due to a divorce. I was faced with difficult and painful decisions about what I needed to do to be responsible for the farm animals. I re-homed Cassie. She lives on a beautiful farm in Culpeper, VA. I miss her but am comforted to know that she is loved and happy on her new farm where she's part of a small herd of older horses and has many acres of green grass to graze. |
