In Memory...
I lost Conoco to old age (kidney failure) at the age of 13 during the summer of 2006. Conoco came to live with me in the winter of 1992. I was on my way home from a long day of skiing at Winter Park in Colorado. My jeep broke down at a gas station in the tiny town of Empire. Darkness was imminent and held the promise of a bitter cold night. While I waited for AAA to come to the rescue, I watched the gas station owner try to give away a tiny kitten to everyone who stopped to buy gas. Conoco answered to the name of the gas station where I found him. Photos:

| Itty Bitty Kitty was born feral.
I brought her home at the tender age of 4-5 weeks in the summer of 1999.
She was just toooo cute not to bring home. Itty Bitty is a double
pawed or Hemmingway cat. She has eight toes on each front paw.
Hemmingway cats are known for their larger than life personalities.
Itty Bitty definitely lives up to that reputation! She enjoys playing
"mind games" with the dogs.
Sadly, I was forced to part with my Itty Bitty Kitty in 2006 due to a divorce. I was faced with difficult and painful decisions about what I needed to do to be responsible for the farm animals. I re-homed Itty Bitty Kitty. She lives on a beautiful farm in Culpeper, VA. I miss her but am comforted knowing she's loved and happy with her new family on their farm. Photos:

wild feathered friends in the "bird feeder tree" She quickly figured
out that if she moved, she lost her balance so she abandoned "the hunt"
without a trophy.
