Phoebe is assigned a "CHIC" Number (#17010) by the Canine Health Information Center. The CHIC program is a combined effort between OFA and the AKC Canine Health Foundation to collect information and provide a database of health screening results for purebred dogs. Participation in this program is voluntary and is encouraged by the Great Dane Club of America. Testing requirements to receive a CHIC number are determined by the Great Dane Club of America. In March 2004 Phoebe was the 67th Great Dane to receive a CHIC number.
