| On October 3rd, 2005 I lost my dear sweet
friend Kaleb to bloat. Kaleb was my first black Dane. I loved
him dearly and miss him terribly. He filled a spot in my heart which
will always belong only to him.
Black dog, I hope where ever you
are now that you find long, cool, green grass to roll in and big black
buckets to toss about. I sorely miss the way you made me laugh.
Your daughter Seven is doing her best to fill your big paws.
Thanks for the memories
Black Dog, I will NEVER forget you...

Kaleb was a handsome fellow but did not like
competing in the AKC breed ring. I decided not to push him so he
spent most of his days enjoying being a couch potato and roaming about
the woods at my home. In 2002, I bred Kaleb to my fawn foundation
bitch
Diva. Together they produced
a litter of 9 (7 blacks and 2 fawns). I kept Kaleb's black daughter
Seven
who along with Kaleb's fawn son
Zeus
(owned by Jen and Lee Cobb) competed in the AKC conformation breed ring.
Both Seven and Zeus earned points toward their AKC championships.
Kaleb's pages
remain here in tribute to his memory
